To start taking cards through Fiserv, Kuee has already filled in your application. You only need to do four things: open the signing email, register an account, review the details, and sign. The store on screen is a demo.
▶ Play from this sceneYou'll get an email from CardPointe saying your CardPointe application is ready to sign. CardPointe is Fiserv's payment platform. Click Sign My Application.
▶ Play from this sceneThe first time, you register a CardPointe account: choose a username and password, then click Register Account. Your progress is saved, so you can log in later and pick up where you left off. On the right are the three steps ahead: create a log-in, review the information, and submit.
▶ Play from this sceneThe application has five steps, and everything we prefilled is already there. Look over each item, and correct the name, address or phone right there if anything is wrong. Step one is business details. Fill in any required field that is still empty, such as the EIN, your business tax ID. Continue checks the page and marks anything missing in red; you can move on once it is filled in. Step two is the industry and owner. For the industry, search 7298 and choose Health and Beauty Spas. The SSN only needs its last four digits, to confirm your identity. You tick the personal guarantee yourself. Step three is your bank account and card volume. Check the account number carefully: card payments are deposited into this account. Step four, equipment, is already chosen, so you can leave it as is.
Stores, clients and amounts in the tutorials are demo data. Some features need a particular plan or must be turned on for your store; the tutorial says so when it comes up. Didn’t find an answer? See the FAQ · contact us
The last step is reviewing the agreements. The first is the Merchant Processing Application and Agreement, which shows your details; the EIN shows only its last four digits. Further down is the pricing page: check that the rates match what we agreed with you. The second is Fiserv's program terms. The "I have read and agree" box becomes available once you've read through both. Then open Sign & Submit, type your full name as your signature, and click Submit. The signature is typed, not drawn.
▶ Play from this sceneAfter you submit, Fiserv reviews the application, assigns a merchant ID once approved, and then your account goes live. If the review needs more information, someone will contact you. Once you're live, we connect card payments to your Kuee store. Then pair a reader by following the Fiserv payments and refunds tutorial, and you can start taking cards.
